THE DEBUT

Her newfound artistic conviction quickly puts her at odds with the production’s domineering director, turning rehearsals into an escalating battle of wills. As Mona refuses to compromise her vision, the line between dedication and delusion grows increasingly thin—and no role, however small, is safe from her pursuit of theatrical truth.

The latest directorial effort from Jesse Eisenberg, starring Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti, THE DEBUT is a sharply observed comedy about ambition, ego, and creative expression, finding hilarity and poignancy in one woman’s determination to step out of the background and claim the spotlight.
