Haunted by the wounds of an abusive childhood, Audrey, a Korean American woman in her 30s, has spent years distancing herself from the family and memories that shaped her. When her mother is injured in a car accident, Audrey reluctantly returns to her childhood home, where old tensions and unresolved trauma quickly resurface. There she encounters the man responsible for the accident, an unexpected connection that gradually deepens into something neither anticipated. As attraction gives way to intimacy, Audrey begins confronting the emotional barriers she has built around herself and the possibility of moving beyond her past.
