Sylvia, an impoverished farmer, desperately needs to claim money sent by a relative to pay for the medical treatment of her gravely ill husband, Ramon. But at the remittance center, she encounters a seemingly simple requirement: she must present two valid IDs. Sylvia doesn’t have even one.

With time running out, she reluctantly turns to a fixer to navigate a bureaucratic system seemingly designed to keep people like her out. Endless lines, mounting expenses, hunger, and exhaustion slowly consume the little money meant for Ramon’s care. As his condition worsens and her options disappear, Sylvia finds herself pushed toward increasingly difficult choices.

What begins as a frustrating administrative hurdle becomes a harrowing struggle for dignity and survival, forcing Sylvia to confront how far she is willing to go simply to prove who she is.
